Kristen: "We left you some dinner...Well ACTUALLY, we didn't"

Today is Cassidy's last day of First Grade. She's sadder than she is happy about it. She doesn't like change.
Kristen and David had their last day last friday. Jane's summer fun of having all three kids home begins!

We headed to Waxahachie Saturday for Scarborough Faire
We thought the kids would enjoy the "bigger" faire in contrast to the Excalibur Faire in Smithville. Jane and I have of course been there before. There was so many things to do we couldn't cover the whole faire in a day. The kids liked the Mud Pit the best. I couldn't get over the grounds. What a great place to host the festival. Huge trees, tons of shade. Here are some pictures of performances we saw:

A comedy show for the whole family

This guy was SOOO funny and did amazing balancing act

A pit of mud art

They did actual jousting as well. Two of the four knights were women

The kid's favorite. Very funny.

David's Birthday Present. I assembled it last night.
His is Black and Yellow

Tomorrow is David's Birthday. He'll be 5. It makes me sad to think I don't remember David as a baby or even small child. Jane said "with Kristen it seems she was born grown-up or like she is today". And Cassidy was our first, she had all our attention so there are more pictures and recollections of her.

Had fun dropped off kids this morning. There were a bunch of bikes for "wheel-day". Kevin told his mom "I know what bike David is bringing". Wish I could stay to watch. They go around the little track in the playscape area out back.

As I was leaving there were 3 moms admiring my car. They loved the color and styling. Said it looked like a sportscar.
