Welcome to CanyonCall, our hyper-local digital bulletin board. This platform exists exclusively to serve the practical, immediate needs of our neighborhood. To keep this space useful, safe, and welcoming for every single neighbor, we operate under a strict, zero-tolerance policy.

By using CanyonCall, you agree to the following absolute boundaries. Violations will result in immediate, permanent removal from the platform without warning.

1. Strict Local Focus Only

CanyonCall is a utility, not a standard social media network. Discussions and replies must pertain solely to immediate, local neighborhood issues.

• Permitted Topics: Lost pets, local safety alerts, utility outages, neighborhood-wide events, tool sharing, HOA/subdivision updates, and local service recommendations.
• Prohibited Topics: National or regional politics, cultural debates, generalized news, global current events, or abstract ideological discussions. If it does not directly impact the physical boundaries of our neighborhood, it does not belong here.

2. Zero-Tolerance Civility

We welcome every neighbor, which means the tone of this platform must remain entirely respectful and constructive.

• No Abuse or Harassment: Direct insults, personal attacks, profiling, public shaming, or aggressive language will result in an immediate account deactivation.
• No Snark or Sarcasm: Passive-aggressive comments, condescending tones, "quippy" remarks, and subtle digs are strictly forbidden. If you cannot answer a neighbor neutrally and kindly, do not reply.
• No Unhelpful "Humor": Jokes, memes, sarcastic quips, or off-topic humor under a neighbor's request for help are not welcome. If a neighbor asks for a mechanic recommendation, replies must be actual recommendations—not jokes about car troubles.

3. Factual Reporting & Privacy

To prevent the platform from devolving into a neighborhood rumor mill:

• Do not post unverified gossip or hearsay about neighbors.
• Do not post private personal information (phone numbers, private disputes, or specific interior property details) of other residents without their explicit consent.
• Keep safety and security alerts strictly factual (e.g., time, date, and observable events) without speculation or profiling.

Swift Enforcement Policy

To avoid the drawn-out arguments, bias, and power struggles common on other platforms, CanyonCall operates on a One-Strike Rule:

The One-Strike Rule: Moderation decisions are binary. A post or comment either strictly follows these guidelines, or it violates them. There are no "warnings," temporary suspensions, or public debate threads about moderation. If a comment contains snark, unhelpful humor, or non-local topics, the comment is removed and the account is deactivated.
